Program: “Care of & Designing With Peonies” – Richard Currie, Styers Peony Farm
Design: Abstract Design: Celebrate Halloween with a non-naturalistic design that has a dominance of abstraction.


November 17 (note date change), 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Gardening With Magnolias” – Andrew Bunting, VP PHS
Design: Table Design: Tray for one. In a serving tray, include a place setting for one with an appropriately sized decorative unit.


December 8— “Let’s Celebrate the Season Together” – Lunch at Whitford Country Club


January 26, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Water Research in the Delaware Valley” – Scott Ensign, VP and Research Scientist, Stroud Water Research Center
Design: Armature Design: A creative design featuring an Armature (grid like structure) created by the exhibitor.


February 23, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Longwood Flower Show Photographs and Judges’ Comments” – Wendy Fox
Design: Challenge Design: Requires advance registration up to  12 participants. Design components will be distributed in January.


March 23, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Making an Attractive Container Garden” – Gina Khalifa, Urned Elegance
Design: Mono-botanical design using multiple parts of a spring bulb to create a design.


April 27, 11:00 a.m.
Program: Wendy Fox will share her photographs and judge’s comments from the Longwood Gardens September Flower Show. Our judges and student judges will discuss the meaning of the comments.
Design: Cascade Design with emphasis on a downward rhythmic movement.


May 25, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Achieving Blue Ribbon Quality Flower Show Arrangements” – Angela
Ella Audrey, NGC Flower Show Judge
Design: Creative Line Mass Design: Creative Design with more plant material to add strength and depth to the design.


June 22, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Rain Gardens” – Sue Mrugal, Temple University Professor
Design: Underwater Design. A Creative Design with some or all plant material and components submerged in water.


July 27, 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Pollinator Gardens” – Donna Delany
Design: Grouped  Mass Design with like material grouped and placed next to other different grouped like material. Plant material emanates from one point of emergence.


August 25, 6:00 p.m.
Picnic In the Uwchlan Meeting House
Design: Banquet table designs any style, any material.


September 28 , 11:00 a.m.
Program: “Garden Design” – Allen Matas
Design: Still life design either a traditional or creative grouping of functional and/or realistic objects and plant material with a theme of your choice.
